COVID-19

Library & Knowledge Services Update -  We are Open!

  • The Library space is open and 24 hour access is available. 
  • Members of the Library team are on-site from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday and continue to provide the full range of Library services: evidence searches, current awareness, articles, training and Open Athens help.
  • We are currently limiting use of the physical Library space to staff and students at Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust.  Staff from other organisations, please contact us by This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. first.
  • Please ensure you wear a mask in the Library and use the hand sanitiser provided when entering and leaving the Library space and wipe down the PCs before and after use.

  • Books can be returned via the blue metal bin outside the front door of the Education Centre or via the returns box in the Library.

Coronavirus Hub 

  • The Coronavirus Hub on the Royal Surrey staff intranet page (access for Trust staff only) is constantly monitored and updated. The hub provides information and access to the most current advice, guidance, health & Wellbeing resources and full details of local planning, policies and procedures.

The links below signpost and provide access to a range of evidence-based open access online resources.   Most resources are freely available, but some will require an OpenAthens account. Please contact the Library & Knowledge Services team if you need help accessing any of the information provided.

Training

This programme has been created by Health Education England e-Learning for Healthcare (HEE e-LfH) in response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) global pandemic.  The programme includes key materials to help the health and care workforce respond to Coronavirus.
